Are there any secrets in your family tree? We'll help you uncover your family line with on-site research at repositories in Butte, Montana, as well as nation-wide database searches. We'll also organize your genealogy into charts, reports, or books.
Research Services
We conduct on-site research at repositories in Butte, Montana, including the Butte-Silver Bow Archives and Silver Bow County Courthouse. We also research records and databases in all fifty states of the United States via the computer. We'll look for:
- federal. and state census records
- city directories
- cemetery records
- obituaries
- marriage and divorce records
- death indexes, including Social Security
- probate, wills, and land records
- county histories
- newspaper articles
A paper copy of all research results will be provided, as well as a list of all sources checked and recommendations for further research.
Computer Input
We will input your family tree information into Family Tree Maker and give you a copy of your family file when finished. You can order a variety of family tree charts and reports, including ancestor trees, descendent trees, genealogy reports, kinship reports, and more.
Fees
- $30 per hour plus expenses for research and reporting
- Expenses can include copies, microfilm rental fees, mileage, postage, vital records, etc.
- Terms: one-half authorized hours in advance as deposit
- Balance plus expenses due at conclusion of research
- Payment may be made by personal check, money order or Paypal
